Medical Billing Associate - Full Time
Performs duties involving patient medical billing. Submits timely and accurately Medicare and Medicaid claims. Point of contact for sources necessary to obtain information and signatures required to file medical claims. Assist with preparing accounts payable and maintains accounts receivable files. Community Liaison - Outside Marketing
Plans and implements direct outreach to potential hospice referral sources (hospitals, physicians, discharge planners, home health agencies, skilled nursing facilities). Conduct education al in-services and community outreach. Participate in community event and seek out speaking engagements with civic organizations, churches, and other groups on behalf of Hospice of Laurens County to educate the public concerning hospice services. Volunteer and Special Events Coordinator - Full Time
Due to internal promotion, we are looking to fill the Volunteer and Special Events Coordinator position.
Develops and implements plan for public education regarding hospice volunteer opportunities. Recruits, screens, trains, assigns, supervises and evaluates volunteers. Records and updates volunteers hours for Executive Director. Develops, plans and leads all fundraising activities and special events for the agency. Assist in managing social media and website. Oversees development, creation, publication and distribution of quarterly newsletter.
Hospice House Aide - Full Time 7pm-7am
As a member of the interdisciplinary team the Hospice Aide will provide personal care services to
patients and perform related tasks in the hospice facility in accordance with the plan of treatment as assigned by the RN team leader. Applicants must hold a current or CNA certificate, a minimum of 1 year hospice experience.
RN, Part-Time Weekends
Takes call and makes visits to patient’s home as need arises to provide nursing
care in accordance with the hospice plan of care.
•Hold a current license in good standing in SC as a RN
•Minimum of one year of hospice experience preferred
•Valid SC driver’s license
•Current CPR certification
Knowledge and abilities:
•Able to assess and respond to the needs of patients and families.
•Skilled in nursing practice, able to cope with family emotional stress and tolerant of individual lifestyles of patients.
PRN RN's and CNA's
RN and CNA needed for hospice house and home care.
