Job Location: Hospice of Laurens County, Inc., 1304 Springdale Drive, Clinton, SC 29325
Responsible for oversight and direction of designated Regional office in Clinton, SC of Hospice & Palliative Care Charlotte Region. Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the office. Ensures effective coordination of internal and external customers. Ensures patient care is provided in accordance with established organizational procedures and government regulations. Develops, supervises, hires, and trains clinical and administrative staff. Interprets organizational reports and data; using information to ensure effective and efficient service delivery. Actively participates in on-going process improvement.
Education and Experience
A Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Nursing is preferred, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
A current, active, and unrestricted compact (multistate) license as a Registered Nurse (RN) is required.
The Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) allows a registered nurse (RN) and licensed practical/vocational nurse (LPN/LVN) to have one multistate license in a primary state of residency (the home state) and to practice in other compact states (remote states), while subject to each state’s practice laws and discipline.
Current CPR required; Certification in Hospice & Palliative Care preferred.
Minimum 2 years related experience required with increasing management responsibilities. Related experience includes home health/hospice, oncology, and medical surgical.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
PRN RN's and CNA's
RN and CNA needed for hospice house and home care.
