Flight of the Dove

August 25, 2007 marked the 2nd year of Flight of the Dove, a cycling event benefiting Hospice of Laurens County. With you help Hospice of Laurens County raised over $22,000.00 and attracted over 230 riders from all over South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia. Since Hospice of Laurens County is a not-for-profit organization, all proceeds from the event went directly into improving patient care.

We look forward to seeing you on August 23, 2008 when we will host our 3rd Flight of the Dove. We are currently working to improve several aspects of the ride. This year's event location will be leaving from Presbyterian College's Bailey Memorial Stadium. This location will better accomodate riders with restrooms, more parking and allow space for additional vendors.

Bailey Memorial Stadium is located on Springdale Drive, across the street from Hospice of Laurens County's offices and Hospice House.
